Shorts History — Gender Equality
Shorts History is an educational content format that makes complex societal topics accessible through short, engaging audiovisual stories, combining narrative voice-over, archival footage and animation to present information in a visual, playful and informative way.
For this episode, we developed a short educational film about gender equality. The subject is explored from different perspectives, touching on its historical, social, political and environmental dimensions. The episode takes viewers on a journey through the history of gender equality, looks at where we stand today, and considers how far we still have to go to achieve true gender equality.
I contributed to the development of the Shorts History format, helping shape its approach to translating complex subjects into accessible and engaging visual narratives. For this episode, I was responsible for the research, investigating the historical and contemporary aspects of gender equality and developing the content that formed the basis for the episode's narrative.
